Brighton Marine, Inc. today announced the appointments of Jennifer Y. Mewett as Chief of Staff, Brian J. Ewart as Deputy General Counsel, and Michelle L. Vayer as Chief Human Resources Officer.

By elevating Adam Hellman and welcoming cybersecurity expert Stanley F. Lowe, Brighton Marine is reinforcing its commitment to delivering secure, high-quality and forward-looking services for Veterans and their families.

Launched to honor and support our nation’s veterans, the initiative will provide direct financial assistance and flexible support to veterans at risk of homelessness due to unexpected nutritional, housing, or employment challenges.

BOSTON – August 12, 2025 – Brighton Marine, Inc., a leading nonprofit social enterprise dedicated to providing world-class healthcare, housing, and hope to military-connected families, announced today the expansion of its leadership team.

Today Brighton Marine, a nonprofit operating the US Family Health Plan of Southern New England, a Tricare Prime health plan, in Massachusetts, Rhode Island, New Hampshire, and Connecticut, announced its intention to expand its existing housing and programming services by investing $10 million over the next five years in programs to prevent and end Veteran homelessness. 

(BUSINESS WIRE) Brighton Marine, Inc., one of the nation’s longstanding non-profits supporting healthcare and housing needs for service members, military retirees and veterans, has been awarded a commercial contract by the Department of Defense to provide comprehensive health care services.

On July 24th our veteran residents launched from the Boston harbor to catch some striped bass. This annual Fishing Academy fishing trip provides a peaceful setting to share experiences and bond.

November was National Veterans and Military Families Month, and Brighton Marine was able to give support to our valued veterans and military families in many ways.

As we closed out Veterans Month, BMI was proud to acknowledge and thank Veterans for their service during National Veterans and Military Families Month by highlighting the recipients of Allston-Brighton Community Fund donations, a partnership between BMI and Clear Channel Outdoor.
