Brighton Marine works with a number of community organizations to provide a variety of services to veterans and their families.


Brighton Marine had an eventful week last week as they welcomed Massachusetts Congresswoman Ayanna Pressley and Representative Kevin Honanto their campus, accompanied by a Recognition Ceremony to honor the newly appointed Boston Fire Department Chief, Patrick Ellis. Brighton Marine, a Veteran network community in Massachusetts and the Center for a New American Security (CNAS), an independent and bipartisan research institution in Washington D.C. focused on national security and defense, today announced the results of a statewide needs assessment for Veterans in Massachusetts. Since donating 375 iPads to the Holyoke and Chelsea Soldiers’ Homes last month, we’ve received an outpouring of support for our initiative, Operation Connecting Veterans Home. With COVID-19 changing the ways our Veterans receive critical services and socialize with friends and family, we felt it was part of our mission to support the Veteran community and think outside the box to discover new solutions to these emerging issues. On September 15, another strategic initiative was launched when Brighton Marine opened a new facility for 25 Veterans who can now call our campus home. Veterans Housing at Brighton Marine, formerly known as Building 9, is an affordable housing facility featuring 25 apartments specifically for vulnerable Boston-area Veterans. Read More >>
