Since 1983, Brighton Marine has provided vital social services to the Allston-Brighton community and, to its veterans. Over the years and while we continue to fulfill our mission, the needs of our veterans have grown and become more complex. This is why we have extended our support and partnerships to multiple organizations in the City of Boston throughout the years and would like to extend it to you.
On September 27, 2018, we are hosting our first Veteran Network Community Open House. The event will showcase available lease space in Building Two, which is available to Veteran-facing organizations that provide impactful supportive services to veterans and their families.
We believe a networked community for veterans is needed. A network designed to assist uniformed service members and their families as they handle life transitions – return to civilian life, loss of a job, increased healthcare needs, and many others. A physical resource hub for military, veteran and family services in the Greater Boston area simplifies the process of finding assistance. A physical hub of collaborating providers can increase impact while decreasing individual organizational costs. The Veteran Network Community Open House is a start in the right direction.
